What are the settings for my email account?
Your POP3 and SMTP servers are both mail.yourdomain.co.uk, mail.yourdomain.com, etc or whichever applies.
Your username for your default account is your primary username, but for all additional
accounts it is the complete email address (including domain name).
You may also need to check the box for "My server requires authentication" on the servers tab in your mail program.
*Important*
If you do not want to use this email account, please log into cpanel and set the default email address to either your own existing email address (which will forward all mail sent to your domain address to you) or set it to :blackhole: to discard all incoming unrouted mail or :fail: no such address here to bounce it. If you don't, your mail box may become full and cause your site to exceed its allowed disc quota.

of your Cpanel page.
Where do I find my Web Stats?
They can be accessed from your control panel (see instructions above).
I've received emails saying "The domain xxx.co.uk (xxx) is about to exceed bandwidth limit. The domain xxx.co.uk (xxx) has reached 80% of its bandwidth limit.
Please contact the system admin as soon as possible."
Bandwidth is the amount of data sent to and from visitors and your website. Each time someone views a page on your site, this uses bandwidth. The amount of bandwidth used depends on page size and images used on that page - the bigger the page/image sizes or the more images on a page, the more bandwidth is used. This is one of the reasons that we optimize images that are used on your site (the other being to make download speeds as quick as possible).
The more popular your site is, the more bandwidth it will use.
The server we use is set up to automatically monitor disc space and bandwidth usage. The Plan your site is hosted on determines how much Bandwidth your site is allocated per month. If your usage reaches 80% then the server will trigger automatic emails to be sent to the contact email address that is set up for your hosting account.
If it reaches 100% then the server automatically suspends your site, either until you increase your bandwidth limit or until the beginning of the next month. If it is very near the end of the month then you may get away with doing nothing, but if this is a regular occurrence each month then you should probably move up to the next hosting plan. Please contact us to arrange this.
Things that may contribute to high bandwidth usage:-
Direct linking to images on your site from another site (also known as hotlinking). Sites that don't have a problem, then suddenly become very high on bandwidth usage may have become victims of image theft or hotlinking. You need to check your web stats to see what is being linked to and from where. You may also cause this problem yourself if you allow other users to link to your site using an image or banner on your site. Please request them to use a text link or to upload the image to their own server.
Of course, another way of inadvertently contributing to un-necessary bandwidth usage is by using your own website page as your home page - each time your open a browser window or hit the home button you use up more bandwidth from your site.
